I’m on the monthly Pro plan with 4 days left in my billing cycle and I’m considering upgrading to the yearly plan. I have two questions:
Credits renewal: If I upgrade now, do my premium credits renew immediately with the new plan, or will they reset on my original monthly renewal date (in 4 days)?
Proration: The Stripe checkout shows $192. Does this already account for the prorated credit of the remaining days on my monthly plan, or should I expect an additional discount to be applied?
Has anyone gone through this upgrade recently? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!
Credits: when you upgrade from monthly to yearly, the new billing cycle starts right away and your usage limits reset immediately. You don’t need to wait the remaining 4 days.
Proration: $192 is the standard yearly list price. Stripe applies proration automatically, so you’ll get a credit for the unused days of your monthly plan on the final invoice. For 4 days, that’s about $2.67, so the final charge should be a bit less than $192.
