Usage Spending numbers didn't move for days

Hi, for the past +7 days ‘Usage & Spending (Pro +)’ had been stuck at 17% ‘Other Models’ and 50% ‘Cursor Models’. In Browser too, which was odd.

Note: Yes, there was a spike in usage, but that started 3 days ago. Numbers should have been updating along side it. They didn’t.

Until this morning. Surprise!

Sharing here, as I don’t know if the needle finally moved because the problem was fixed or not?

It’s quite annoying to not be able to see where usage’s at…

Does this stop you from using Cursor?

  • Yes - Cursor is unusable
  • Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
  • No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey! Not a coincidence - the reporting path behind those two bars had stalled on our side and caught up early this morning. Your usage, limits and billing were tracked correctly the whole time; only the display was stale.

You’re at 100% on Other Models now, so GPT, Claude and Gemini are capped until your cycle resets (that date’s on your usage page). Composer and Cursor Grok draw from the separate, much larger Cursor Models pool, so switching there as the banner suggests keeps you going. And if you don’t have on-demand spending enabled, hitting that cap just stops those models rather than charging anything.

Yes. Just to clarify, I trust Cursor’s usage trackers are aligned and NOT overbilling. And which model belongs on which side is very clear in the UI.

My point was more about the stale display. Its annoying to build blindly not knowing when the meter’s gonna hit “full”. That’s all.

Glad to know it caught up on your side as well. I just hope it can be improved to be “less stale” in the future. lol
