Using Cursor during standups without switching windows

In daily standups I kept bouncing to Cursor to ask about the codebase mid-discussion — paste/write topic context, wait, come back — and by then the topic had already moved on. A generic chat model doesn’t help much either, because it doesn’t have the repo, I have everything already in my Cursor.

So I built a small local bridge for myself: OpenSumo. It sits between Google Meet (Chrome captions) and the Cursor agent I already use, so questions from the call can be answered from the project I’m in — without joining as a bot or sending the meeting to a cloud notetaker.

It’s free, public preview, and runs locally (Chrome extension is load-unpacked from GitHub for now, plus an IDE sidecar). Site: https://opensumo.org

If anyone tries it: I’d love feedback on the standup flow, install friction, and whether the answers feel grounded enough. Happy to walk through setup — you can also ask Cursor: Install OpenSumo from opensumo.org and guide me through setup.

Not selling anything; mainly looking for other Cursor users who live in standups to poke holes in it.

I have pushed the more stable version. Hope it helps some people.
