Web link: https://cursor.com has not been opening last few weeks

I wish to update bugbot limits . I believe the option to do this is from https://cursor.com but for the past few weeks the website has been down or simply unable to open. The app itself works fine.

Hey @Sharon, thanks for the report.

Quick note on the limit itself: what you are running into is your monthly on-demand spending limit (currently $50). Bugbot reviews on an individual plan are billed as on-demand usage, and your Bugbot reviews today used almost all of it, which is why Bugbot is now reporting that the usage limit was hit.

You do not need the website to raise it. In the Cursor app:

  1. Open Cursor Settings (Cmd+Shift+J on macOS, or the gear icon in the top right).
  2. Open the Plan & Usage tab.
  3. Under On-Demand Usage, find Monthly Limit.
  4. Set a higher fixed amount (or choose Unlimited), then click Save.

Bugbot will start reviewing again within a few minutes of saving.

On cursor.com not opening: the site is up and reachable, and the app talks to different servers than the website, so this looks like a network path problem between your internet provider and the website’s host. Two quick checks:

  1. Open https://cursor.com/dashboard/spending on your phone using mobile data (Wi-Fi off). If it loads there, the problem is the network you normally use.
  2. On your Mac, try again in a private Safari window.

If it still will not open, reply with exactly what Safari shows (error text or a screenshot) and whether it worked on mobile data, and we will dig further.

Thanks for clarifying the Bugbot/on-demand usage. That’s new information to me and I’ll keep that in mind and work around it.

The website access issue is the part I’m still trying to resolve. I’ve tried cursor.com both on my usual connection and over mobile data, and it doesn’t open on either. Safari reports: “The server unexpectedly dropped the connection.”

I’d appreciate some help figuring out where the connection is being dropped.
