Hi, I’m encountering an issue with the Cursor Agent web interface and hoping someone can help. Yesterday, I had a positive experience where the agent worked as expected, creating a PR on my repository. I kept the browser tab open overnight.
This morning, I attempted to provide a new instruction in the agent chat (on the same open tab), but it didn’t respond at all. Upon refreshing the page, a video announcement played. This made me wonder if there was an update to the web agent. Unfortunately, after that, I’ve been stuck on a screen displaying ‘Agents populating…’ and cannot proceed.
Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I think its an PAGE issue. I can see successfull https://cursor.com/api/background-composer/list request in Console view showing the the tasks I created earlier in json formatted list.
Hmm, I’m not having this issue either. Can you try reconfiguring your setup from the background agents tab, making sure everything (especially github) is enabled properly.
Could you share any error(s) from the dev tools → network tab/console after you refresh the page?
Do you have any github IP whitelisting restrictions in place?
Cant even get it to connect to github in incognito mode, it always asks me to connect github, when I click on it, i see that github is already connected.
