# When is "auto" mode coming to Cursor CLI?

### Feature request for product/service

Cursor CLI

### Describe the request

Currently only GPT5 and sonnet is offered. It would be useful for us CLI users to get more models/auto mode.

Hey, thanks for the feature request. Since this is still in beta, we’ve limited it to a few models. In the future, we’ll expand this list, so stay tuned for updates.

This feature is already available in Cursor CLI version 2025.08.22-82fb571. Please run `cursor-agent update`.
