When signed-in in the iOS app, you can’t enter the website (redirects to the app)

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor for iOS

Describe the Bug

When signed-in in the iOS app, you can’t enter the website (redirects to the app) (google sign in)

Steps to Reproduce

Do what I did

Expected Behavior

It should open the website. I cannot access it (from the same iOS device ) without first signing out of the app. And then when I sign in the app, next time I try to visit the website it just redirects me to the app.

So it’s one at a time with many extra steps to switch between the two.

Having the usage in the app would also be useful since I am making a report.

Operating System

iOS

Version Information

iOS version 26.5.2

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works fine, we love Cursor

Hey @Filippos, thanks for the report!

What’s happening: after you sign in on the website, cursor.com sends you to the Agents page, and because the Cursor iOS app is installed, iOS hands that page to the app instead of letting Safari load it.

In the meantime, this should get you onto the website:

  1. Sign in on cursor.com in Safari as usual (it will jump to the app at the end).
  2. Switch back to Safari.
  3. Tap the address bar, type cursor.com/dashboard (or any cursor.com page you need), and press Go.

Addresses typed into the address bar always stay in Safari, and you should already be signed in at that point. Could you let me know if that works for you?
