Why does cursor's instructions come in windows that have a "Copy" all contents option?

Describe the Bug

What’s the point of this limitation?

  1. I can only copy the entire body of code of the window but the window contains code that I already have in my file.
  2. I cannot scroll horizontally to see all the lines of code in the window.
  3. The play button that applies the code to my file automatically doesn’t exist.

What is the point of this?

Steps to Reproduce

Ask gpt-5 or Claude Sonnet 4 for something.

Expected Behavior

The windows should have all the choices (copy entire code in the window, apply the code to my file) and ability to scroll horizontally.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report, we’ll fix it.

It’s still happening with gtp-5. The instructions consisted of 9 code blocks and only two of them had the play button. The other 7 have only the copy option.

Edit: And now it’s happening with Claude-4-sonet too.

Keeps doing it with claude-sonnet-4 .

Still does it with claude-sonnet-4; not often but it does happen.

Today it doesn’t even have the copy icon. It has nothing (using claude-sonnet-4).

Why mess with core functionalities?
