Why doesn’t the new update open the file when you click on it in the agent?
it also started hiding everything that was edited by default. How to remove this terrible solution?

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known regression in 3.10.x. In compact mode, clicking the changed-file chip, or the chevron, toggles the inline diff instead of opening the file. We’re tracking the issue, but there’s no ETA for a fix yet.
A couple workarounds until it’s fixed:
- Click the file name text itself. It’s a narrow area. Don’t click the rest of the chip or the chevron. That should open the file.
- Or open the file from the Review tab, or from the N Files Changed summary at the end of the agent reply.
- Important: the edits are still applied to disk. Only the click to open file navigation is broken.
You already noticed 3.9 works fine. Rolling back to that is a valid option until there’s a fix.
About changes being collapsed by default, that’s a separate topic, not the same bug. If it’s getting in the way, please start a separate thread with details like version and a screenshot. That’ll make it easier to track.
