Why inline edit not support for Gemini 3 Po

I am a pro user, but I found that the agent mode can use gemini3 pro, but inline edit is not supported. Why is this?

Inline edit (Cmd + K) require a model meet the following criteria:

  • Not a max-only model
  • Not a thinking model
  • Not explicitly excluded from Cmd+K

Gemini Pro 3 is a thinking model, designed for longer deliberation and not ideal for the quick, focused inline edits that Cmd+K is meant for.

Then what about Gemini 3 Flash? I think fast enough, still not available. By the way, choosing or not, I think should be decided by user?
