Why isn't there a tier for 1000 or 1500 fast requests a month?

Once its pro i can use my own API key?

Yes, you can. However, you will need to disable your API key each time you want to use Composer. Fortunately, the Cursor team has made it easier for you by adding a shortcut: cmd+shift+0 on Mac and ctrl+shift+0 on Windows. To quickly toggle the API key between enable and disable, simply use these shortcuts.

Enjoy!

Thank you for the tip and the swift response Deanrie

will definitely make use of the shortcut (though probably change it to another hotkey

That i have to disable my API key to use Composer is a bummer though, kidna defeats the purpose of having your own API key, especially when the 500 limit is used up and not being able to use the paid Claude or Google API

now that deanrie clarified it, how did you make it work with composer when one has to disable the API key ot use it

Does the Business tier have Priority over the Pro tier in terms of waiting times? Anyone got experience with the Business tier?

We need different keybindings for using default premium model / default fast model. Changing model every time in dropdown is so annoying.

Also it seems like Copilot doesn’t have such a limitation with slow queries (which are completely unusable with 25-35 seconds waiting time). I regretted paying for Cursor for 1 year honestly.

good feedback, thanks! i’ve sent you a dm as well
