I’m a 60 year old amateur electronic music producer who is using the experience gained in a former programming career of ~ 30 years to build add-on tools for by music software (Bitwig ). I’ve been using Cursor along with Java and Scala and loving the experience. In the last week I have been dipping my toes into Modular’s new language, Mojo, a Python++, as it were, and have amazed myself at how easy it is to grok a new language with Cursor’s help (admittedly I used Python quite heavily about 20 years ago!). Now I just have to be careful that my newly rediscovered enthusiasm for coding doesn’t outweigh my love of making music!
