[0.48.0]The close button is no longer visible in the top left corner of my cursor editor

Mac(m1), 0.48.0

As you can see, after I updated my cursor to version 0.48, the close button is no longer visible in the top left corner of my cursor editor. The minimize button and maximize button are now accessible only by keyboard shortcuts. Mac apple chip m1

We are all victims of the beta. . . And I’m now opening a new cursor project. . . It no longer opens in separate columns in the same window. . . Open directly inside a new MAC screen . . Hopefully, they can patch it quickly

me too,Even in the latest version 0.48.1, it has not been restored

What version of macOS are you running?

As you can see, this is the version of my current Mac. In response to this post, you also see 0.48.X A lot of other people have the same problem with version 0.48 … Hopefully this problem will be fixed as soon as possible. . .

In the settings what are the values for window.customTitleBarVisibility and window.commandCenter?

I am not able to reproduce on my Mac..

Does it still happen with >Developer: Reload with Extensions Disabled

To workaround this issue, you can change the setting window.nativeTabs to OFF

Thank you very much! Setting nativeTabs to false solves the problem. Users would be very confused if the update caused such problems . . (Setting.json). The JSON configuration has never been changed, and past updates have never had this type of problem, so it’s not clear what triggered this mechanism? Changing the configuration will resolve, but the user will suddenly be confused. Expect cursors to get better

But native tabs is a useful feature that I can open many projects within a single window/space on MacOS. I prefer the dev team should have better solution.
Now I have to download the 0.47 version just because of it

Obviously, the [0.48.0] version nativeTabs is no longer in effect, and setting this to true also causes the close etc action button not to be displayed. I believe this is an important configuration for many Mac users and look forward to fixing it in the next release.

I agree

Also for [0.48.1], hope it will be fixed on .2 patch lol

A fix is coming in 0.48.2!

Thanks for helping us to debug.

Thank you very much and I look forward to the future of cursor.

Great to know that

The fix in 0.48.2 is now available via Cursor Settings > Beta > Update Frequency: Early Access

Great thing to know today, thanks for your notice
