1.14 update "auto stuck on generating"

Describe the Bug

I was in a middle with Claude 3.5 and it asked me to update from 0.50, so restarted the app it set to auto, changed it to 3.5 now it stuck on generating.

Steps to Reproduce

Switching models - set to auto - max enabled - all stuck on generating.

Expected Behavior

AI supposed to work instant like it did before on 0.50. i was on 1.0 but downgraded as it was still generating.

creating a conversation works fine but the bot starts all over again, but going back to old ones it sits there.

This is a known bug that all the past conversations before the update will bring the same results if youre looking to continue from those chats, youll need to downgrade to 1.13 until they fix it. Otherwise new chats seem unaffected, but old chats might not continue to generate until patched.

My suspicion is that the model pricing metrics changed some things on the back end and is potentially trying to govern the pricing properly. Idk I dont work at Cursor so thats just skepticism on my end

Same here. Updated to 1.1.4 and previous chats get stuck on generating. New chats work fine.
