2.4.x version can't use agent behind company proxy

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

After upgrade to curosr IDE 2.4.x version it unable to use agent mode behind company network(with proxy setup and http1.1), as I can see, send message in agent will update the title, but doesn’t get answers, and reverting to 2.3.41 works fine.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Install latest cursor behind company net work
  • send message in agent view
  • Can’t get response

Expected Behavior

should get response like 2.3.41 version

Hey, thanks for the report. It looks like a known issue with HTTP/2 and corporate proxies in version 2.4.x.

Try this workaround:

  1. Cursor Settings > search for “HTTP/2” > switch HTTP Compatibility Mode to HTTP/1.1
  2. Restart Cursor
  3. Test the Agent again

If it still doesn’t work:

  • Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics (send a screenshot)
  • Specify which proxy is being used (Zscaler, another?)

Similar issue: Connection issue - Agent, chat, nothing works

Let me know if disabling HTTP/2 helped.

Hi, it’s already HTTP/1.1.

And Run Diagnostics shows:
