Hi,

I’ve used up my quota for premium models:

501 / 500 requests used
Now everything is slower, likely falling back to a lower-tier model

I also see that I have access to gpt-4o-mini or cursor-small with 0 / No Limit, but I’m not sure how to actually use them.

Questions:

1. How can I explicitly use gpt-4o-mini or cursor-small in my requests?
2. Is there any way to increase the premium model quota?

Before I do — just to be sure — is there any public documentation or API example on how to explicitly use gpt-4o-mini or cursor-small in requests? Since these are marked as “No Limit”, I’d love to switch to them temporarily while the premium quota resets.

Hey, if you need additional fast requests, you need to enable the usage-based pricing option in your account settings.

Also, if you don’t see the free models, they might be disabled in the Cursor settings. Open them using Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + J. On the Models tab, you’ll see a list of models.

However, if the gpt-4o-mini model is missing from the list, try adding it manually.
