Sometimes I have very long discussions with the Cursor Agent. When I need to refer back to an important response made earlier, I have to scroll up and search for it manually, which takes too much time.I propose adding a feature to pin multiple responses within a chat session. We should be able to give these pins custom names. Clicking on a pinned item would then automatically scroll the chat window directly to that specific message. This would act as a table of contents for long AI sessions.
Hey, thanks for the feature request. The idea makes sense. In long sessions, jumping back to the right answer by manual scrolling is really inconvenient.

During long conversations in the Chat or Agent window, some specific messages, constraints, or useful pieces of information (like a specific architectural rule we agreed on, or a core snippet) often get buried deep in the chat history. It becomes tedious to scroll up to find them or to repeat them to the AI to ensure they aren’t forgotten.
Proposed Solution
It would be incredibly helpful to have a “Pin” functionality.
Pin a message: A button on individual chat bubbles to pin that specific message.
Pinned Area: A dedicated UI section (either at the very top of the chat window or as a collapsible side panel/edge) where all pinned items are kept visible.
Expected Benefits
Keeps crucial context readily accessible for the developer.
Reduces cognitive load and scrolling fatigue during extended coding sessions.
Potentially acts as a persistent visual reminder for both the user and (if injected into the context window) the AI model.
