So I’ve been messing around with cursor probably for the last 8 to 9 months and I built a few react apps. It’s definitely super exciting and thrilling to create something that is for your personal use or even help you in some challenge at work where you can automate stuff. The issue is that I’m coming up to is that almost every time I get almost to the end of the app cursor stops cooperating. I try to do the cursor rules. I tried to document but admittedly that was a recent thing and it seems like it’s doing better. But I get to the end and again even simple tasks that I ask cursor to do sometimes take me a day to accomplish like trivial tasks. And I can’t figure out if if the models picking sub-optimal models because around a lot of credits. Or is there some other issue that I’m lacking or a skill or knowledge base that I need to brush up on. Realistically, I know there’s a lot of coders in this forum. Is it plausible and realistic to build a fairly complex app using cursor with proper backend. I’ve heard a lot of opinions about vibe coding and I want to cut through the hype. Can anyone help me with my ask and a realistic perspective from an actual real developer??
