Hey, this is a known issue affecting Auto mode right now. Several users are reporting the same thing today. The garbled text is coming from a specific model that Auto sometimes routes to.
Workaround: switch from Auto to a specific model, for example Claude Sonnet or GPT, in the model selector. That should work normally.
