Agent can't see terminal output until moved to background

Describe the Bug

Hi!

When agent suggests to execute some terminal command, I press “Run”, then after command execution agent is still waiting for output so I assume he can’t see the output.
What helps: “Move to background” makes terminal output visible to agent.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Get a terminal command from agent
2. Press “Run”
3. Command is executed
4. AI endlessly waiting for output.

Expected Behavior

Agent can see in-chat terminal output.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

So annoying. Makes Cursor almost unusable. Happens with Sonnet 4 thinking, nonthinking, and MAX, but that is just a subset.

I found this bug was fixed in Cursor version 1.2.

I still get this issue in cursor 1.2.4, very annoying for many months. And then agent starts thinking output is just blank.

More details:
The problem sometimes goes away if I start a new cursor window or maybe new chats (but not always). And I’m using cursor in lightning cloud with remote SSH but I click About and it shows 1.2.4, where the problem is occuring.
