Cursor’s agent service was overloaded when that request ran. Nothing in your project caused it, and there is nothing to fix in the stack trace.
The response is ERROR_RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED with title High Load: “We’re experiencing high demand right now. Please try again in a few moments.” isRetryable is true, so the client correctly treats it as a temporary failure. The stack (X_S, classify, runAgentLoop, streamFromAgentBackend) is Cursor classifying that server response, not a crash in your code.

Does this stop you from using Cursor?
Yes - Cursor is unusable
Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
No - Cursor works, but with this issue
The more details you provide, the easier it is for us to reproduce and fix the issue. Thanks!
Hey @UTTAM_OMAR, thanks for the report and the request ID!
That error came from a short burst of very high demand on the model Auto was using at that moment. Nothing was wrong with your project or your setup, and the capacity limit cleared a few minutes later.
Sending the message again should work now. If you hit it again during a busy period, you can either wait a minute and retry, or pick a specific model from the model picker instead of Auto so the request goes to a different model.
If it keeps happening for more than a few minutes at a time, reply here with the new request ID and roughly when it happened, and we’ll take another look.
