Agent mode not activated with Ctrl + I from Edit Mode

:beetle: Bug: Pressing Ctrl + I from Edit mode does not switch to Agent mode

Please see attached gif

Steps:

  1. In Chat window, switch to Edit mode
  2. press Ctrl + I

Expected:
Agent mode should become active

Actual:
Edit mode remains active. Instead pressing Ctrl + I multiple times, toggles the chat window.

Hey, it’s not a bug. If you have the edit mode selected, then Ctrl + I doesn’t change it because it’s related to the former Composer in normal mode, meaning edit and agent are the same mode. You need to select the agent mode manually, yes. I agree it’s inconvenient. We just need a shortcut for the edit mode.

Thanks for your reply. If Edit and Agent are the same modes, then please consider removing Edit as it is confusing. I also use other AI IDE’s and a popular one uses only 2 modes which makes it quite easy to work with. Thanks for considering.
