Chats should be in the backup you made before deleting workspaceStorage. Let’s try to restore them.
Check the backup:
- Fully quit Cursor.
- Make sure your backup includes
~/Library/Application Support/Cursor/User/workspaceStorage/and~/.cursor/projects/.
Restore attempt:
- Copy the contents of the backup back into
~/Library/Application Support/Cursor/User/workspaceStorage/. - Launch Cursor and check if the chats are back.
Please send a screenshot of what’s inside the globalStorage folder, and what you have in the workspaceStorage backup. I’ll help you restore it.
