Hi, I’ve noticed that the agent terminal is now read-only, and this has become a problem. Many times, the agent successfully starts a server, but it doesn’t kill the process when needed. Since I can’t run commands directly in the agent’s terminal anymore, I have to manually find the process running…

this is a show stopper and blocker…. Also don’t reset user settings after an update. I set legacy mode in before the update, and after update the settings reset… this is too bad and making dev setups unstable and eating lot of time….

This is absurd, I have been going through this for about a year, they finally fixed it last year with having legacy terminal in settings enable and now once updated to 2.3.x its doing the same old crap again. I have tried every possible thing and no matter what I do, cursor agent terminal is ALWAYS …

That helped me. “cursor.terminal.useLegacyTerminal”: true Add to settings.json, restart cursor :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Setting the Legacy Terminal Tool no longer fixes this issue for me either.
