With the new JetBrains integrations via ACP, Cursor CLI and UI, it would be useful to have a single source matrix of what metrics/analytics are recorded for each, how they might differ, etc. If that exists, I haven’t found it.
For example, we have an OKR around engagement for AI code generation/help. We have one team that is currently using JetBrains AI in JetBrains IDE. We have at least one user that uses the CLI rather than IDE. Right now it seems they aren’t getting “credit” for CLI for some analytics. Would that be the same for ACP in JetBrains if we had that team switch or does the ACP integration hook into similar events to VS Code based IDE?
Is there a roadmap to achieve parity if there is a difference across those offerings?
