The agent writes some code.
I update some minor code, like change a config value, update a file path, comment a section…
then I ask the agent to do some work. It will revert the changes I did in between. I have to specifically ask it not to.
Has anyone else faced this.
Can the devs do something with the harness so that the agents respects the users updates.

also, when planning, if i manually change the plan before build it, the agent simply ignores my changes. i need to ask in the chat to change the plan, but this consume a lot of tokens.
why Cursor ignores manual changes in the Plan when building it?
I have noticed this too. It doesn’t happen enough for me to understand if its a specific situation or if there is a way to avoid it. But when it does happen, it is annoying to have to undo the agents changes.
