Describe the Bug

The keyboard up-arrow up doesn’t work in any chat mode. It should behave similarly to the down-arrow.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Open a new Chat in any mode.
  • Start typing, add new lines/carriage returns.
  • Try to use the Up Arrow on the keyboard to navigate lines back to the top of the chat message.

Expected Behavior

Using the keyboard up-arrow in chat moves the cursor upwards.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known bug. The up arrow key in the chat input has been reported before in this thread: Up arrow isn't working in plan mode in chat box

The team is aware of this issue. Your report helps with prioritization.

For now, as a workaround, you can use the left arrow key, with Option or Alt to skip words, to navigate through your text.
