Any way to paste code as text, instead of adding at the top as a part of file?

This is very annoying. It should by default at least put the file name and lines of the copy/pasted code in the actual prompt message where you pasted in, not just in the context. Often I am pasting different segments of code in reference to the prompt as I am writing the prompt, but the prompt does not remember WHERE the code was pasted as I was typing. So I have to manually type the file name and line numbers, which was already pasted in the context. Would be so easy to just have it also add that info in the prompt where it was pasted. Just like how when tabs/files are dragged into the prompt.
