Describe the request

AnySphere DevContainer has effectively blocked the VSCode DevContainer extension, but falls short by not implementing,

  • Clone Repository In Container Volume
  • Open In Recovery Container
  • Rebuild Container → Full Rebuild

Among other things, the logging is poor, when compared to VSCode, so if something goes wrong, it’s almost impossible to tell what happened. At a minimum, the above features need to be implemented.

Hi @gblikas, thank you for these feature requests. It is on our roadmap to support clone in volume.

As for logs, they should be visible in the “Remote - Dev Containers” output panel:
