Please add a supported API (or Admin API route) to read and update Cloud Agents Preferences that today are dashboard-only:
- Default Model (“Used when no model is specified”)
- Default Repository
- Base Branch
Why it matters
Grok Bot can start Cloud Agents and can name a model on each run via the Cloud Agents API, but it cannot change the team/personal default stored in the dashboard. Teams that use Grok Bot as ops want one standing default (we just set ours to Grok 4.7 High Fast) without opening cursor.com/dashboard by hand every time models change.
What already exists
- Cloud Agents API v1 lets you pass model on each agent create; omitting model falls back to personal → team → Cursor default. Docs: Cloud Agents API | Cursor Docs
- Cloud Agents settings docs say Default Model / repo / branch are set in the dashboard (Cursor docs → Cloud Agents → Settings)
- Admin API can manage members, spend, Grok Bot settings, and model access (enable/disable + default options) but not the Cloud Agents Default Model selection (Cursor docs → Account/Teams → Admin API)
Request
GET/PUT (or equivalent) for Cloud Agents default preferences: default model id (+ params), default repository, base branch — scoped to the authenticated user or team with appropriate admin rights. Documented and stable, not the internal dashboard endpoints some users have reverse-engineered for Slack/team settings.
