Apply button is broken… getting “File is too big to apply (~undefined line limit)”

I’m not sure why this is occurring to files which are no larger than 25 lines long… could this be a bug in the latest version? are there steps I can take to resolve this issue? i haven’t tried removing and reinstalling cursor to see if this resolves the issue. just wanted to see if others are having the same issue.

I’m using cursor with the following details from the about dialog box:

Version: 0.42.0
VSCode Version: 1.93.1
Commit: 9e8f0f993884031e2f08d75f7adab80d1732a980
Date: 2024-10-09T23:06:04.586Z
Electron: 30.4.0
Chromium: 124.0.6367.243
Node.js: 20.15.1
V8: 12.4.254.20-electron.0
OS: Windows_NT x64 10.0.19045

Thanks for the report @dvvincent.

Out of interest, which LLM did you choose in the initial chat prompt?

And are there any relevant logs via:

Cursor > Terminal > Output and then click on the dropdown and select Window

it’s very strange, i reopened another project and i don’t have this issue. so maybe just my machine. i’ll keep an eye on it and if it becomes persistent i’ll report back to this thread.

Im having the same problem regardless of what LLM is selected… this is the Pro feature I upgraded for, so, highly frustrating.

could you try reloading the editor?
