Are new models counted as premium or fast?

With all the new models coming out so fast, there really is no way to tell how each one is charged.

Premium request? Fast request? Usage based?

There is no way to tell with the new models. I have a feeling that new models will only continue to come out faster. I think I’d love to see a list view of each model (updated in real time) with clean and simple UI outlining which model is premium, fast, or usage based.

What do you guys think?

hey! yeah we totally need to make this clearer, thanks for the feedback! we’ll make sure to update the docs to reflect this

Looks solid! any way to get that graphic on the cursor usage page? In settings?

Also, I notice Deepseek-v3 says premium on the chart. Is that true? I saw someone say differently. Due to how cheap it is I’m not sure why it would be considered premium.

thanks! yes, we’re actually working on improves usage stats right now

and that’s a mistake on my end, fixed now!

Lightning fast. You’re the best :sunglasses:

@ericzakariasson @danperks Please include the details for Gemini 2.0 Flash (free), 2.0 Flash Exp (free), 2.0 Pro (premium) on the page AND please put it up on Pricing Page https://www.cursor.com/pricing. People/New Users are looking for this information while making a choice. Paid users like us can use this information to decrease the number of premium requests.
Moreover, consider the following format also (sort of at-a-glance) which was suggested by @deanrie on https://forum.cursor.com/t/premium-models-usage-with-the-pro-plan/38213#:~:text=Dec%202024-,Hey%2C%20here%E2%80%99s%20an%20explanation%20about%20the%20models%3A,-Without%20limitations%3A
