This is mostly feedback on the new Chat UI since 0.40.
Ever since 0.40, I’ve noticed that attaching an image into chat no longer shows a full preview of the image and instead attaches it as a file “tag” just like other @ mentions / files etc.
I’m sure this was intentional (as an improvement) and I get why, to save space. But the problem is that more often than not, I need to actually see what’s in the image so I can reference things about it, while thinking of how to prompt the AI. Previously, the image I’m prompting against was right there, so it was really convenient. Now, I have to have the image open elsewhere so I can reference it. I realize I can now click on the tag and it shows a preview, but the preview is so much smaller than it used to be.
I would be amazing if this could be optional. Or, if it could just preview by default (at full width of the chat UI like it did before).
