I wanted to ask how fair the “Auto” mode really is when it comes to choosing models, and whether there’s any bias depending on users or their subscription status at this stage.
When I still had a deposit balance, Auto seemed to cycle through different models for me — for example, sometimes I’d get GPT‑4. But after my balance ran out, I started getting only one model in Auto every single time: Claude‑3.5‑Sonnet‑20241022. I’ve tracked this over more than 200 messages, so it doesn’t seem like a coincidence.
This feels a bit odd, and I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences with something similar.
