Autocompletions in Jupyter Notebooks seems half-broken

Hi, I’ve noticed that autocompletions in Jupyter Notebooks are generally sub-optimal. And after some (not long) time working on a notebook, they just stop working altogether.

Is this something that is being worked on?

Also, this happens:

Same here, but recently tab-completions stopped working altogether. Tried reseting cursor index and downgrading to previous version without any success.
UPD: eventually was able to fix it by clearing user data and downgrading to v0.49
UPD2: Only for couple of hours, now it’s not working again :C
UPD3: Looks like it’s sufficient to logout & login to your cursor account to temporarily fix this

This need some attention since notebook is kinda broken with Cursor refactor

Same here. Random non-usable behaviour in Jupyter notebook, fine outside. Used to work fine in previous versions.

Today, May 22, 2025, Cursor stopped autocomplete in notebooks. Autocompletion works well in normal .py files. I have restarted Cursor, computer, Signed out and in again. Autocompletion in notebooks is completely dead. I get no type hints from cursor.

I think the issue has improved in latest Cursor (as of today).
