I built BankBridge so my agent could answer questions about my own money without me pasting CSVs. It’s a remote MCP server: you connect your banks once, then ask Cursor things like “what subscriptions am I paying for?” or “did I spend more than I earned last month?”.
It’s read-only. It can’t move money or change anything at the bank, and it fetches live from the bank on each call instead of storing transactions. There are 12 tools (accounts and balances, transaction search, spending summaries, recurring charges, monthly cashflow, holdings).
Install in Cursor
It’s a remote server with OAuth, so there’s no key to paste. Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or use the one-click link on the docs page):
{
"mcpServers": {
"bankbridge": {
"url": "https://bankbridge.money/api/mcp"
}
}
}
Cursor opens the BankBridge sign-in page, you click Allow, done. One-click install and details: Cursor: One-Click Bank Data MCP Install | BankBridge
To kick the tires without signing up, there’s a shared demo account with fake data. Use the URL above with this header:
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer bbk_demo" }
Pricing is $5/month per connected bank, no free plan. If you try it and a tool answer looks wrong, tell me here and I’ll look.
