Broken link for "slash command" in Subagents docs

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Somewhere else…

Describe the Bug

Hi Cursor team,

On the Subagents docs page ( Subagents | Cursor Docs ), in the “Anti-patterns to avoid” section, there is this bullet:

“Duplicating slash commands — If a task is single-purpose and doesn’t need context isolation, use a slash command instead.”

The word “slash command” links to the Rules docs page instead of the slash commands documentation. This looks like a mistake — the link should point to the slash command / custom commands docs instead.

Just flagging this as a documentation bug so it can be fixed.

Thanks!

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to the Subagents documentation page.
  2. Find the “Anti-patterns to avoid” section.
  3. Look at the “Duplicating slash commands” bullet point.
  4. Click the “slash command” hyperlink.

Expected Behavior

The link should navigate to the slash commands documentation, not the Rules documentation.

Operating System

MacOS

Version Information

N/A — this is a documentation bug, not an IDE/CLI issue.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report, I reproduced it. The slash command link really does go to Rules instead of Skills. Slash commands in Cursor have moved to Skills at Agent Skills | Cursor Docs, so the link target should point there. I’ve passed this to the docs team and they’ll fix it. I’ll update the thread once it’s live.
