Bug Report: Code Pasting Issue in Cursor

When copying and pasting code in the Cursor editor, instead of adding the file along with the line reference in the right chat panel, the code is pasted as plain text.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a file in the Cursor editor.

  2. Select and copy a block of code.

  3. Paste the copied code into the right-side chat panel.

  4. Observe that the pasted content appears as plain text instead of referencing the file and line number.

Expected Behavior

The pasted code should appear in the chat panel with the correct file reference and line number.

I have the same issue, and it’s really annoying. If I add the file reference manually, the composer adds the whole file to the context window, and it becomes a large context window immediately at the first message sent to the composer.
