[Bug Report] Paste Function Not Working in Latest Version on Ubuntu 22.04.5

Hello Cursor Community,
I’m a student currently learning programming and I’ve been using Cursor to assist with my coding. I recently updated to the latest version of Cursor and have encountered an issue with the paste.

Issue Description:
The paste (Ctrl+V or right-click > Paste) does not work in the code editor.
This issue occurs when I tried to paste the certain content, for example,

@https://maniskill.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tasks/table_top_gripper/index.html#pickcube-v1

I am using Cursor on a Ubuntu 22.04.5 machine.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Open Cursor and create a new file or open an existing one.
  • Copy the above text from another source.
  • Attempt to paste the text into the Cursor editor using Ctrl+V.
  • The paste operation does not work, and the clipboard content is not inserted into the editor.

Additional Information:
I have tried restarting Cursor and my computer, but the issue persists.
I have also tried using different keyboard shortcuts and the edit menu, but none of them work for pasting.

Could someone from the support team or anyone who has faced a similar issue please assist me? I’m eager to resolve this as it’s currently hindering my coding workflow.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Yucheng Song
