Describe the Bug

when submit any prompt from new chat. It shows “You’ve hit your free requests limit” while I just upgraded to pro.

Steps to Reproduce

submit any prompt to new chat

Operating System

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Are you on a Free plan?

If yes, then you have used up your free plan limit and would need to upgrade to Pro.

I am already a pro account. I find the problem. Seems my local cursor app somehow login as a different account by default. I re-login and solved the problem. Thanks.
