Marketplace skills are available to Agent in the IDE, but Bugbot runs as a separate PR review service and does not load plugin or marketplace skills today.
My team has shared plugins, skills that define general architecture and best practices we should follow in different repos. We want BugBot to be aware of those skills while reviewing PRs

You’re correct that Bugbot doesn’t load Agent/marketplace plugin skills today. It uses its own configuration system instead, and given your goal (shared standards across different repos), there are a couple of options that can unblock you now:
Team Rules: In the Bugbot dashboard, admins can create rules that apply across every enabled repo. You can edit these settings here: https://cursor.com/dashboard/bugbot More docs here: Bugbot | Cursor Docs
Repo Rules: From the same place you can tailor repo rules for more fine grained control. https://cursor.com/dashboard/bugbot
We have also rolled out MCP server support for bugBot. As an admin, you can enable the MCP servers that Bugbot has access to: https://cursor.com/dashboard/bugbot#mcp-tools
Would Bugbot use rules already existing in the repository or do we have to upload them through the dashboard?
