Bugbot and Background Agents for Azure Devops

It would be nice if someone from Cursor could provide some details on this. Are there any plans to support DevOps repos? Or is it time to move to GitHub? We have 100s of repos in DevOps and have invested heavily on Cursor and dont wnat to miss out on the featurs.

This is a blocker for us. Need timeline for Azure DevOps.

This is also a showstopper for us…

A blocker for us as well. Please get this working asap!

Very much in support of ADO being added for both bugbot and Cloud Agents. It’s painful having to pay for Code Rabbit when we already use enterprise Cursor

+1 for Azure DevOps.

Another +1 for Azure DevOps integration

Hey, thanks everyone for keeping the comments coming in. I can see Azure DevOps is a blocker for a lot of teams, especially in Enterprise.

Honest update: the request is being tracked, but I can’t commit to an ETA for Azure DevOps integration yet, for either Bugbot or Cloud Agents. We’re reading the thread and we see the use cases.

What really helps with prioritization is concrete info in the comments: team size, number of repos in ADO, your plan Pro / Team / Enterprise, and whether you’re using self hosted Azure DevOps Server or the dev.azure.com cloud. A +1 helps too, but impact context moves the request faster.

For now, as a temporary workaround, Skyepack.Engineering described a bidirectional sync between ADO and GitHub here: Bugbot and Background Agents for Azure Devops - #37 by Skyepack.Engineering. It’s not perfect, but it lets you use Bugbot.

Hey, we also had this need at EVT, with a 60+ people engineering team and 100+ repos, so we have built our own engine, and we are open-sourcing it after internal usage and testing, so other people/teams around the world can already have a head start on this topic. We enjoy cursor and its tools so we are willing to remove this barrier.
The tool is free, ready for multi-project setups, and runs in the cloud (plug-and-play with any containerized delivery solution). That’s our way of giving back to the community that has helped us so much!

The repo is in: GitHub - evtapps/azure-devops-github-bidirectional-sync: Bi-directional sync between Azure DevOps and GitHub — branches, pull requests, comments, reviews, and statuses — with Azure DevOps as the authoritative system. Ā· GitHub

For now, this tool will allow your org to use Bugbot and Security Review as well.

Contributions and feedback are much appreciated!
Happy building!

+1 for Azure DevOps.
