Deep links to a given rule do not work.

For any valid ruleId deep link, you get redirected to https://cursor.com/automations/from-cursor/bugbot

Steps to Reproduce

Visit https://cursor.com/dashboard/bugbot/rules/learned/{ruleId} with any valid ruleId

Expected Behavior

You go to the page for the specific rule.

Hey @koconnor thanks for the report!

This is a known issue we’re tracking. Rule links, including the ones in Bugbot’s PR comments, currently open the Bugbot home page instead of the rule itself. I’ll post here when there’s an update.

In the meantime, you can still reach a specific rule from the page the link opens: Bugbot, then Repository Rules (or Team Rules for team rules), pick the repository, and click the rule. The address shown on that rule page won’t reopen the rule if you copy or share it yet, so that in-app path is the reliable route for now.

Any update on this? It’s making it extremely cumbersome to maintain rules

Hey @koconnor, thanks for following up, sorry I don’t have an update to share yet. Rule links are still opening the Bugbot home page instead of the rule itself. Team is aware of the issue, and it’s in our queue. In the meantime, here’s a quicker way to jump to a specific rule than browsing the list:

  1. In the Bugbot PR comment, copy the rule name from the “Triggered by learned rule: …” line at the bottom.
  2. Open Automations > Bugbot > Repository Rules.
  3. Click the search icon at the top of the rules list and paste the name. The search matches rule names and rule content.

I’ll post here when there’s an update.
