Build plan in a new chat?

Hello,

I’m trying to build a plan in a chat and build it in a new chat (to keep my context size small), but I can’t figure out how to do that in Cursor. The “Build” button doesn’t seem to allow building in a new chat.

Has anyone found a way to do this?

If you click on View Plan, then scroll down to the bottom under the task list, you can spin off a new agent right from the plan.

hi @androz2091 and welcome to Cursor Forum.

You can save the plan to your workspace (project) and then in new chat use the @ reference to directly add that plan. The agent will execute it that way in new chat.
