Built a Cursor Usage app and launched it on the app store!

Sequoia 15.1

Here in details:

  1. Click on Authenticate (Open Cursor.come Authentication)
  2. Enter my email, Continue
  3. Enter my password, Sign In
  4. It load the Cursor website but nothing else happen.

I just tried again today and it worked. So I don’t know if there was an other issue with the server the other day

Feature request: Can you make one that show only the number of Premium request and Fast request.

A bit like 500 - 1000
where 500 is fast and 1000 is the number of slow request. I don’t want to use too much real estate on my already full menu bar.

Well version 1.0.2 did drop around the time you posted, but I would be surprised if that was the reason why you could login. Could you check what version you’re on now?

I’ll get on it, good suggestion! Should be available by next week with version 1.0.3

Like this?

It looks like for team plans the display is wrong?

in addition would be nice to have optional pricing usage stats (otherwise a bit more expensive)

I didn’t test this with a team account (don’t have one) → will figure this out by getting one and debugging it. Can’t have this be a half baked app.

I’ll also look into the price usage stats.

And thanks for the feedback!

Version 1.0.3 is out!

Added the toggle requested by @debian3 to remove the max requests from the menubar

thought it is like cursorLens where you can see the prompts and token amount

Lets ask the Dev team to add your App or let them add you the functionality (as a dev member preferably) to cursor itself or its webpage

I might actually be able to do something with this. Let me get back to you on this ok?

I have some updates coming up soon, so I’ll see what I can do on my end to facilitate. I should have a roadmap available soon as well on https://cursorusage.com

looking forward to it

I did some digging, and I might be able to obtain the last 500 requests and stuff like token usage. Gonna do some tests and get back to you on this.

@rijnbeek Just purchased my copy and noticed that the team plan is still not working, is that right? Any plan to fix that soon?

Plan is to have the update for teams available next week, very much dependant on how fast app review is. Seems they’re a bit swarmed atm.

I have the usage data for teams working, it sadly works quite different from a individual account. I’ll most likely have the whole team usage showing their usage in there. So you can see the whole team.

The plan is for the update to be pushed to Apple before december 6th. And should if all is fine we should see a release about a week later around december 13th due to the holiday season.

I’ll share more when I can.

Slight delay, seems something broke on Cursors side for counting team requests. So this will affect release of the next update until this is fixed (app review will complain that it doesn’t work)

Small update, I’m in currently a tug of war with the apple review team to get the update for cursor teams published. So bear with me.

To show what the update would look like;

Teams shows the members (depending if you have the rights to see them) and shows you their premium usage and tab usage for each of them. Hopefully coming soon (depending on apple app review). Here’s hoping they finally play nice with me :crossed_fingers:

Version 1.1.1 is finally out! Now with proper business/team support. You might want to log out and log back in again for it to correctly show the data. More coming soon!
