I hoped this would do it but I guess I do not know what this setting is for:
If it is not possible to do this, does anyone have any tricks for opening chrome? I usually have to ask the agent, that doesn’t always open it, and when it does, I have to log in because it is a new instance with no memory. This is especially annoying when switching branches or installing updates and having to re-open it.
I found the menu item to open in a tab, but that has serious UX issues (I reported this).
Ideally I could just launch chrome using the VSCode launch config and then have the model see it. Chrome dev-tools MCP can do this but the agents aren’t as good at using it as the @browser.
