As cursor subscription is a little out of budget for me, I thought maybe its a good idea to use Cursor free + GLM4.6, but my concerns are :
Can it process images?
Does cursor inject context (web search options) or can I use the cursor’s MCP features on the model?
And what limits do I have with a free cursor and paid GLM4.6? Is it a good choice for Frontend development?

I have added GLM4.6 with the Max plan custom model via cursor , however I’m unable as of now to send text with images. Text alone works. i have also added mcp server but still this doesn’t seems to work. If anyone has a way to make this work that would be great.
Found the solution to this, just add GLM-4.6V
This make it read images and works smoothly now on cursor
