i can see i’m not alone in this situation, but cursor dev’s need to start fixing AI tools not implement just new stuff when there is problems with main thing i think that we are for here is for AI edit’s, becouse if not for this i would be using directly vs code with github for 10$ not 20$ usage based that ai dose whatever it wants, not what its asked for.
now problems that i came to:
- Chat history disapears after night
- As you know if you don’t then AI edit using claude 3.7 think max, before those MAX thinking and other money making ai solutions everything was working i was happy it would remember more of the project what we have done now it looks like 3 messages and it dosen’t remember what we are talking, or even start’s to do his/her own things what he thinks maybe would be cool before saying that descriptions ar plain, no i’m describing everything about every function what goes where what is happening here and there, almosrt to the max level how now calude is max level.
- ai strugles in max level to create 300 line of code, sometimes in the middle of new code create he creates 1 file then stops for 15 minutes you can wait and nothing happens and the coolest part it charges for that woohoo very happy
- also sometimes it does just random edit, its like by the day how the sun will shine, one day it works like a cherry one day it’s like explaining to the rock.
owerall i have zero based knowledge about coding just learning you could say that happy with the progress i have done, but these new updates that we are seeing in future it will be great but now i think cursor team needs to focus on bringing back ai back to normal working stage, i’m writting this becouse i saw alot of post’s about this problems, so maybe more topics about this and they will nootice real, usage based problem.
