Hey, thanks for the report. I see the issue: the terminal keeps popping up and gets in the way.
A couple workarounds that might help:
- Try using Zen Layout (
Cmd + Shift + P> “View: Zen Layout”), the terminal behaves differently there - You can keep the terminal always open at the bottom at a minimal size, then it won’t create new splits
If you want to help with debugging, tell me what exactly triggers the terminal to appear (is the agent running commands, which ones, and what actions are you doing?).
