Cannot find wsl extension

As many people seem to have, I had the problem, that WSL didn’t work for me (404 when trying to download the server part) - I then started from scratch (not migrating the extensions from vscode) and now I cannot find the WSL extension (the one from Microsoft) at all:

using 0.40.1
Any ideas?

wow - it quickly worked with 0.40.2 - now 0.40.3 it’s broken again…
